The LB Group Recommends
M.L. Rose is one of our favorite fun and casual spot for burgers and beers. We can’t get enough of M.L. Rose’s Waffle Fries with HOUSEMADE Ranch.
For live music, enjoy a night out at The Sulter Room, which is actually three famous, and distinctive, bars at one location: The Sutler Saloon, Rambler Cocktail Bar, and Melrose Billards Parlor. At The Sutler Saloon, you get the feel of a neighborhood bar with “legendary roots.” The Sutler Saloon features live music, Southern pub food, and over 90 bourbons and whiskeys served with Nashville hospitality. Don’t miss the Live Bluegrass Brunch on the weekends! Want something a little more upscale for your night out? Rambler Cocktail Bar has the electric vibe & plush seating of a classic lounge and offers well-made cocktails to groups of all sizes who love a good time. “Hard to find and easy to love, Rambler is an underground escape located beneath The Sutler Saloon and beside Melrose Billiard Parlor in historic Melrose.” And finally, there is the Melrose Billards Parlor which is “Nashville’s most iconic dive bar and pool hall,” established in 1944.
Fun fact about our next recommendation: It’s where Libby and Ben had their wedding rehearsal dinner which was also the very first event at the venue! Mangia is a ” Marriage of Food and Music” where creator Nick Pellegrino serves a traditional Italian menu and a communal atmosphere that transports you to a time where friends, food, and family were everything.
“The desire and passion I have for bringing people together and entertaining them is at the core of everything I do. I want Mangia Nashville to be a joyful place where you leave your problems at the door, enjoy a great meal, meet new people, sing, dance, and celebrate life… It’s the ultimate social network.” – Nick Pellegrino
Finally, head to Sinema American Fine Dining & Bar for classic American cuisine and cocktails. This restaurant is housed in the original Melrose Theatre which opened in 1942! “Sinema aims to keep that tradition alive. The guest experience is inspired by the history of the theater: the architectural design, the patrons, and the stars who graced its big screen.” Moving from Windy City to Music City the executive chef, Kyle Patterson, and his team create a menu that “leads diners to eat with their eyes first, nose second, and finally taste. The daily menu at Sinema reflects his delicate, purposeful presentation of dishes that are creative takes on Classic American Cuisine.”
