It is always a special experience when you meet a client that connects with you on many levels. In 2016 I had that distinct pleasure when I met Mrs. M. She was new to the area and looking to buy her first home. I knew she was a go-getter and a kindred spirit immediately. Her unstoppable persistence and her ability to see the value in buying a home as a single woman, still a rarity in our society, were inspiring. Seeing her badass huge black truck didn’t hurt either.
To my great delight, I was able to find the perfect home for her which happened to be about 5 doors down from my then house! She made it beautiful inside and out and we enjoyed being neighbors for years. I watched her marry a wonderful man (Highland dancers at your wedding are the best) and they decided not that long after to search for their dream property.
Mrs. M has many passions but near the top of that list is her love of horses. A native California girl, she moved to our fair city for many reasons, one of the largest was access to our equestrian communities. The newlyweds were seeking a quiet property with acreage in which they could keep their horses and enjoy creating a home together full of love and beautiful sunsets. When they stumbled upon the home on Rials Branch Road there was no doubt, this was THE ONE.
The house had so many wonderful features. A gleaming kitchen with custom cabinets overlooking the gorgeous backyard and meadow where they could build a lovely white fence to give the horses a place to graze. 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and office space with ample room to grow a family and have guests. The guest room patio downstairs and the balcony off the upstairs primary bedroom were able to give incredible views of the front of the property where deer often came to visit. The garage was also finished to be used as a den (a man cave if Mr. M had anything to say about it) and a home gym. The spacious back deck was begging for a few rocking chairs filled with peaceful sunset watchers. There was even an already existing barn on the property! All of this beauty AND the property had income-producing potential from the hay and GREENBELT TAX REDUCING STATUS! They were thrilled when the seller accepted our offer. We made it to the closing table and I handed over the keys. They named the property Red Sun Ranch in honor of the amazing sunsets and the adventure began!
As Mr. and Mrs. M began their lives in their dream home they also started to grow a family. Their beautiful first child was born not long after. They loved watching him grow, enjoying the horses, the sunsets, and all the land had to offer. Not long after though, COVID made its ugly presence known. Amidst the pandemic, Mrs. M had decided to stay home with their new baby and Mr. M had made a career change that affected their schedules in a whole new way as well. Soon the once excited new parents were feeling a pull to a neighborhood setting where their sweet baby would grow up playing with friends and family living nearby. God had blessed them with this special place, a beautiful child, and was now providing them another path to grow. They knew it was time to bless another homeowner with the gorgeous property they had tended to so lovingly.
When I received their call I must admit I was surprised but it also made sense. I jumped at the chance to work with these special people again. The LB Group got right to work!
We are so proud to present this property with its 28+ acres, beautiful home, stunning sunsets, reduced taxes, income potential, and impeccable setting! Come and see it to decide for yourself…is this your dream property too?
