Live Better in Green Hills!

One of the most desirable areas to live in Nashville is the community of Green Hills. The spacious properties in Green Hills are often sought after by buyers looking to be close to the city while maintaining a neighborhood feel. Only fifteen minutes from the heart of downtown, this area features over one hundred popular restaurants, furniture stores, and boutiques. Green Hills is also home to a newly renovated YMCA, which features both indoor and outdoor pools. The neighborhood is close to three major universities in Nashville- Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Lipscomb.

Popular shopping spots in the area include The Mall at Green Hills and The Hill Center. The mall has something for everyone, from tech stores like Apple to high end shoes from Golden Goose, and adorable children’s stores such as Abercrombie Kids. The mall also has many restaurants that would be perfect for a date night before grabbing a movie at the Regal Green Hills theatre. A few blocks over at The Hill Center, you’ll find popular stores like Lululemon, Anthroplogie, and Whole Foods. If you want a more casual atmosphere, stop by Crow’s Nest or Joe’s Place to grab a drink and watch your favorite teams play on any of their numerous televisions. End your night with a craft cocktail and finger foods from the tucked away Greenhouse Bar, a hidden gem on Bandywood Drive.

The Bluebird Cafe is another notable attraction in the area. The Bluebird was made popular by the television “Nashville”, but locals have been enjoying live shows in the cozy venue for decades. Since it’s opening in 1982, the Bluebird has hosted thousands of artists and songwriters showcasing their talents and giving life to Nashville’s nickname, “Music City”.

Green Hills is mostly encompassed by the zip code 37215. While some homes in Green Hills include ranch-style homes that date back to the 1950s, this area has been popular for new construction over the last several years and features numerous spectacular new builds. Notable neighborhood streets in the area include Hillsboro Pike, Hobbs Road, Abbott Martin Road, and Woodmont Boulevard. The median sales price for a single-family home in Green Hills is $1,135,000 with a median of 3,360 square feet.
